Watch to see if it does it again and note the error. I've installed the MI scenery and AI and have just spent 25mins waiting for something to move.. which it did eventually  It's now almost 2am here so I'm off to my bed. If you get another error, note what it was and tell me where it was it happened.

Got all working at last. All the crash was an aircraft that I didn't like because I caused my sim to crash. Removed the aircraft concerned and double checked I had installed everything correctly and it works now.

Thanks DaveB for your help.

Glad you're sorted AD :)

What aircraft was it?

It would be nice to know so it can be checked out :)

Some stray machine that I had downloaded a few weeks back. It was the Boeing XB-15 I posted in the CNB forum section.

Ah right

Thanks....at least it's not something more common and likely to be used.

The usual reason for an aeroplane to crash the system is a texture in the wrong format which is why I'm surprised as that problem would not have got this far as the developer would not be able to load it.

Quite what is happening here I have no idea :worried:

Probably my system telling me to get rid of the aircraft.

I thought it was strange that it crashed my sim. :dunno:

Anyway, everything is running smoothly and just the way I like it.

Thant's the main thing

There are always odd things that happen with individual systems which is not surprising given the amount of differences in set ups all trying to work together in some sort of common fashion.

That is why forums such as this are very useful if not vital. :)

Isn't that true. There are some things that work on one setup and not the other.

The smoke issue on the Nimrod is one..and I have a similar situation where I alone could not see smoke on my Superfreighter sometimes......but other times it worked :'(  :wall: :wall:

It's a nightmare for developers because all he knows is how it works on his system with pointers to possible issues from the beta team.

Then out it goes and that's something else :wall:

Just reinforces the need for like minded folk to get together :)
