Well done England!

Post by DaveB »

Hearty congrats to the England cricket team for winning the fifth test by an innings and 83 runs and for winning the series 3-1! Looking at ESPN online, it seems Australia is in denial

We won't gloat.. we're above that ;)

Cricket has never floated my boat. But we're so bad at most sports its actually a refreshing change to be put back on the sporting map for all the right reasons.

So well done lads.

I sat up and watched every day's play of every test and England deserve to bask in the glory now. Apart from the one blip they out played Australia completely and it could easily have been 4-1 as they out played them in the drawn test too.

Let's hope they do just as well in the T20's and ODI's too.

What you haven't stayed up all night to listen to TMS??? Shame on you but then again neither have I :) . But I did get to listen to the 8th Australian wicket down before having to toddle off to work, at least I could relax after that! And what a victory it was - 3 wins by an innings +, that's some going in anybodys book. A joy to listen to and watch.

Regards,
Chris

Congratulations England for finally managing to win at a sport they invented. Oh, they won the last ashes too if memory serves.
