NM was the last 741 delivered wearing BOAC (5/73) which may explain why she's still in partial Golden Speedbird some 7 years on

All things being equal that would account for it as she would be the last of the originals to get a repaint as it waited for a scheduled tart up

For me, as an outsider to such piffling squabbles, I think it's a nice mix.. the lower fuse looking better on that than it did with full BA RT
