The ultimate FSX add on?

Post by VEGAS »

This little set up looks fantastic. Although I would imagine its very expensive. :dunno:

I think its wasted on a Motorbike simulation. It would be perfect connected to FSX. :)

Is that really a motorbike sim? How the hell are you supposed to ride a bike with a steering wheel 8) The gears seem a little long too *-)

Imagine FarmingSim with that rig :-O

Indeed mate.

I'm no biker but I was thinking how the hell can you simulate getting your knee down with this kind of set up?

Regardless I think it looks very impressive. Just seems to be set up for the wrong sort of sim. :)

What I'd like to know is if he crashes does it throw him out of the chair? :dunno:

I've used a wheel on a bike sim, you have to imagine the wheel is the bike and as you turn it left you are leaning the bike left. I think there is too much wheel movement on that sim though as the movement of the wheel should be mirrored by the angle of the rig. But some people might find it too sensitive, so the force feedback needs to be higher than normal to introduce more weight to the control and a good centering spring both to simulate the gyro effect and weight of the bike.

Tbh.

There should be a lump hammer attached to the chair via pneumatics that breaks your ankle when you crash

How about this. It uses a real motorbike frame.
