That's quite high up to be on finals for landing.

Must have damaged the suspension with that rough landing? :dunno:

my guess is there was damage onboard before the landing ...... brain damage.

I know you were just making light of it Brian and much like myself in Flightsim try silly things messing about.
But what those yahoos did was just flipping stupid.

ok rant over  :) ;)

That many crew and filming??.....looks like some sort of test flight to me.

I'm sure it was all intentional and the hard landing is no firmer than some often made and in this case he was in the right attitude by touchdown so |I don't think the bump is a direct consequence of the approach *-) :dunno:

I agree with you, Garry.
The whole athmosphere int he cockpit makes me think of that.

Any ideas which airline that is?

It's almost as if they are practising a steep decent over terrain on an airport without the terrain, maybe an even more extreme version of what they operationally need to perhaps establish some sort of limit to enable a procedure to be written *-)

If you read through all the BS comments about this clip on page 15 it describes the situation:

"This video was recorded during an instruction fligth with no passenger. The emergency was fire in passenger cockpit while the plane flys over an airport. Plane landed after finished check list for landing. In normal an visual situation its not a dangerous situation."

Amazing how exposure to flight sims give these YouTube commentators an expert opinion on real life. :'(

Yes.. a tower shot would have been nice. Looks like a whole pile of fun  However hard the landing 'wasn't'.. it was hard enough to catch the guy with the camera out ;)

I like the taka-taka-taka sound one of the crew was making
