This is probably what can be achieved by someone who does not spend most of their time in FS related activities!EricTImagine being able to do this with your SLR

Toby - wow! Amazing pictures, thanks for posting.
Re: Alpine flight in Piper Super Cub
What altitude was the Super Cub flying at when you were onboard?
Re: Alpine flight in Piper Super Cub
By my estimations from the map, the airstrip was at close to 7375ft at the top end. I think we spent most of the flight a little lower than that but at certain points we were definitely higher. I had no view of the instruments, but I would say in the range 6000-8000ft ASL.

I think a white plane might be quite dangerous there You'd never see it against the snow. This said, someone had a small white aircraft with a swept rear mounted wing, pusher prop and canards. Sadly I didn't get a picture of that.

BTW, how long was the flight?
Re: Alpine flight in Piper Super Cub
Hi Jimm,
I didn't time him but before the flight I asked him if it would be about 15mins which he affirmed and it felt about that long. Would happily have spent longer up there but of course that would have cost more! Managed to get the photos of the landing sequence when he brought the next customer back.
