Not 'now' on Paul.. it's on by default. The settings haven't been touched ;)
If you post soon enough after the original was made.. eg, within a few seconds.. the 'editied' bit doesn't show anyway :)

I notice that when ever I edit one of my posts, it doesn't show that it has been edited. If I edit the post a few hours later it shows it has been edited by me 1 time in total.
