The first RAF aircraft ZZ330 and designated an Airbus A.330-243MRTT has been flown (03-Feb) from Madrid-Getafe to Toulouse after conversion.
Currently it's EC-335, maybe this will mean the start of pre delivery finishing and testing?
I've seen speculation and conflicting accounts, but does anyone know what it will actually be called in RAF service?

Nah.. nothing so complicated.
When a receiver asks for fuel, the A330's just beam it over

It is indeed Voyager... Enterprise was kissed off because it would attract Star Trek jokes, so the picked Voyager!!!! Hey Ho...
The first two ac have been flying for a while and are based out of Madrid at the moment but often pop up to Toulouse. I have had a look around both of the jets that have been converted and they are very nice it has to be said! Role on their arrival at Brize.

I can't believe they went for Voyager over Enterprise because of the Star Trek connection.
I guess 'those on high' didn't realise Voyager (the series/name) is actually Star Trek: Voyager as Deep Space 9 is/was Star Trek: Deep Space 9
Ah well.. it'll give the crews at Brize something to snigger about
Given the option, Voyager as a class name is much better than Deep Space 9!
