Recently Lufthansa received a new A.320.the first aircraft assembled in the new factory in Tunisia.
Why or why is nothing ever moved to the UK....there are factories with the labour sitting on airfields that might soon close as the work dries up
The A.380's are built in Toulouse then flown to Germany for finishing
Many A.320 series from Frankfurt to Dinard for painting......again...anywhere but the UK
When UK firms fond themselves in a group with a factory abroad it seems the UK one is always the one to shut...like Heller Airfix And Mecanno going to France and the Bryant and May Matches...lots of things
The Government need to both encourage this sort of thing moving to the UK and discourage things moving out
I just don't understand this.
I know what'll happen
After all the remaining aircraft factories have close and the airfield built over some Government bod will tell us there are moves to try and bring production to the UK but no facilities now exist
