Gentlemen, we are definately not alone!

Post by VEGAS »

Hi chaps,

So there I was this morning. A quick hop booked in from Manchester to Schipol.

Whilst over the Lincolnshire coast I noticed a small object travelling in the same direction, similar altitude but at a far lower rate of knots.

Could'nt fathom out what it was and nothing was notified via ATC of nearby traffic.

As I got level with it and began to pass it I was intrigued and paused the sim whilst I zoomed in.

To my amazement I saw the images that I posted below.

Have no idea what it it or where its come from. I have never installed anything like this so I'm baffled.

This ISN'T a joke. Its real and its happening to us... :dunno:

I did have a real life strange experience of this nature in , I think, 1976. Descending through about FL130 near Southampton we saw a strange small object, fortunately not directly ahead of us, and as it passed us on our left hand side it turned to be.... a corrugated iron garden shed ! It turned out that there had been a whirlwind near Portsmouth which must have sucked it up from an allotment . It would have been very nasty indeed in the dark , but then we probably would never have known about it!
