Re: HS125 anyone?
Maybe Dave could get one for Brooklands and use it to blow the Vanguards props to get the Tyne's started

One flown into Cosford - http://www.rafmuseum.org.uk/Cosford/new ... ews_id=420
Re: HS125 anyone?
I have a nasty feeling those HS125s will end up as pots, pans, beer cans and razor blades They're very old, probably done a lot of hours and cycles, much of it demanding low level flying (e.g. Mach Loop etc) and given they are not currently serviceable (even if they were I think the BS Vipers certainly wont be Stage III compliant!!)
This said, I'd love to rescue something like this. Shame we can't have a forum whip round and buy one for the DH Museum or somewhere like that.

Re: HS125 anyone?
Whilst surfing on there, I found there's also a Lightning T.5 for sale. That ought to appeal to a few on there. No engines unfortunately but since the CAA won't let you fly it, probably no big disappointment. It would still be more far more dynamic than your average garden gnome as an ornament on the front lawn.
