I was experiencing the same issue. Come to find out my shortcut to Flightsim.com was http://www.flightsim.com/cgi/kds/main/menuchoo.htm

Once I changed it to http://www.flightsim.com I was able to view the site.

Just remebered something

If you go in via a favourites shortcut then try going in without using that.

My shortcut suddenly stopped working a few weeks ago saying the page was unavailable...so I just went in without and made a new one. *-)

Yes. I had the same as Texas! Then I deleted my shortcut and went straight in with 'flightsim.com' and gained entry straight away. All is now as it should be.

Puzzled because I do not know why my old shortcut changed or stopped working!

When you create shortcuts in your favorites or bookmarks (depends on what browser you use), the link remembers the actual page viewed, not just the site address, ergo, If they latter happen to change the default page on the site, i.e. change its page name rather than the content, your shortcut may stop working.
