G-AVMK and the Red Arrows

Post by PeteP »

While I was digging out the shots of the Vanguards at Belfast, I came across these, taken there by Michael Harries in July 1987.

Great find Pete! Was that also at Belfast? 87 was the one and only time the Northern Ireland airshow was held at Aldergrove.

I was there :-) Don't remember the 1-11 coming in, but I'll have a look through my photos. Concorde was there and the TNT 146- (200 or 300?) I was on the flight deck of that one. It was a fantastic day, off the top of my head, Hunter T, Bucc, Jag, Harrier, 757 (Shuttle flight fly past), DC-9 (BM Diamnd service fly past) Cat, A10, Spitfire, I think I'll be going through the album tonight :)
