Hi Peter.

Dual core laptop running Windows 7 32bit. I've tried experimenting with the IE8 security levels and protected mode but still can't get past the loading screen.

Hi Ian,

Well I just tried it on my wife's netbook which uses Windows 7 64bit and it would not work...When I run it on my machine it starts with the rotating circle of dots which the changes to a sliding bar indicating loading and those two last about 3 or 4 seconds total and then the slideshow starts...On my wife's machine there is a bit of disc activity indicating that something is happening but then nothing, just a blank browser screen without either of those "Loading" indicators.

A mystery really...I tried the YouTube Trident Turnround:-

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvCgAdunVZc

and that worked perfectly. I really can't think of a solution...Perhaps it is a Windows 7 thing...Is anyone seeing it work on Windows 7?

Here is the URL that is NOT working for some people:-

Hi Peter

I tried the link in question

Works fine on my PC...Window XP Home

On my laptop it shows the winding circle followed by "loading image" and it goes no further. That is though, a lowish power machine... Windows 7 Starter.

Thanks Gary...That is another failure in Windows 7...What I need now is a success in Windows 7...Anyone?

Windows 7 64bit, Palemoon (Firefox) browser - Works fine for me Peter.

Windows 7 64bit - IE8 - Works fine as well.

I suggest it's a Flash player update needed for people not working.

Effoh and Darren,

Thanks very much for that info...Darren, I think you may be right because SWMBO says she thinks that Flash Player is not installed in her NetBook !!

Do you have Flash Player installed Jimm?

I note that I have the following installed:-

Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X
Adobe Flash Player Plugin
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2.1

As my slideshows are made with Lightroom 2.1 then maybe Flash Player is required.

Here are my other slide shows, all made with Lightroom 2.1:-

If you can't see any of those then I would suggest that the lack of Flash Player is the reason.
