That's interesting Mark, is the iPad screen 4:3 or 16:9? And do you hear any sound?...Particularly as each Four goes out of sight overhead. And can you hear the tyre screeches on touchdown?

the new version of ipad are dricing down the previous version pricing, problem for me with it is, no usb or card slot,

I guess it does have bluetooth for file tranfer.?

they are FAA certified to use as a EFB though , several of the guys around Lantana use them

You can get the camera conection kit that allows you to import pictures & video via USB or SD card with a little dongle.
