Another massive natural disaster strikes.

Just played the clip on the BBC website and the power of it is breath taking. :-O

Thoughts and prayers go out to those affected. :(

Hello,

My thoughts go out to the people affected,

My son and his partner had not long left Indonesia in 2006 when the Tsunami hit and i know the dreadful feeling not knowing whether they were safe until we had a call from them,

Watching the TV this morning from the air it is frightening at the speed at which the Tsunami travels and the shaking of the buildings in Tokyo 300 miles away, incredible.

Roger.

Good luck to everybody out there. Yes the shots were amazing. It showed one clip on the news of a/the tsunami approaching the coast, taken from an aircraft, there was a type of surreal beauty about it until you remember what it was going to do when it struck land.

Awe inspiring and yet another example that nature has the last word.

I just hope that everybody else in the Pacific area manages to avoid becoming casualties.

Both Dee Waldron and John are verified safe :-)

Esa has received notes from Dee, and John has been updating his FB-page just recently.

Thoughts go to all those impacted by this...!

I am ok here in Manila on the west coast, the east coast was supposed to be affected, not sure if it was to any extent.
