I dare not mate. Had a quick look on my hotmail yesterday and saw I'd won something I'd forgotten I'd even bid for Managed to get away with sneaking in my BEA Routemaster + trailer on Tuesday (I admitted to getting a new phone battery which was also in the mail) plus the dratted 1:400 Vanguard still hasn't arrived from the States and my B.O.A.C van and a metre of road are in transit Colin's Grandads hammer is finally starting to take it's toll
Just a thought for the future although you may have done it already, is to look out for a Toy and Train Fair in your area as you can pick up some bargins now and again compared to other sources,
I have not been into models for many years but i have had the Urge [steady rog] to build a Harrier GR7 platic kit but having seen the prices in the larger scales i am going to have a go of one in 1/72nd scale and see how it goes,
Cheers,
Roger.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.
Buses aren't my cup of tea mate - I used to work with a guy who drove them on his days off, and he was to say the least, a bit anal about them . Looks like a nice model tho'.
I think the hammer(tm) may need an upgrade at this rate

TBH, I'm not a bus fan either although I do like the association with BEA and BOAC. For something different, I picked this up too.. http://www.gascupboard.co.uk/milk-float ... -4326.html (didn't pay that for it either) The really good thing about 1:76/OO gauge is that there aren't the aircraft to go with them. Nice as this would be, it would be financially disasterous
Yes mate.. point taken but, and this is the BIG but, I don't do kits anymore. Don't have the time, the patience or indeed the steady hand I could pit the lot against my 1:72 Lanc and Halifax CMk8 but they'd look a little odd.. especially as the Lanc is a bomber The price of 1:200 die cast aircraft models is prohibitive (a lot more expensive than the 1:72 Corgi Aviation Archive but a lot better quality) so until I win the lottery (which I don't do) that avenue will remain closed
With all my trucks, I'll have to make a car park instead
