I took this last Thursday shortly after popping through on the way from Des Moines to Washington DC. I thought it was too nice to pass up. Good thing I was quick on the draw; just a few moments later and it was clear.

Tis the season
I was looking at a couple taken by Allegiant captains up in the midwest -- really impressive thunderbumpers!
Also the media here has been reporting a lot of cases of "Thundersnow" this winter..i e thunderstorm activity associated with snow storms
