Yes, they are two different models.

It seems this might be payware uploaded to Asim without permission.????

I don't have either, but comparing screenshots, it doesn't appear to be the Icarus payware model. (it's better )

Oh great, it looks like this aircraft has been removed from avsimrus. There's no way ,in my opinion, this is a ripoff of the IcarusGold 'Duck'...no way. Where would this guy have gotten the source files?? And if he did monkey with the source files (which I believe has not happened) IcarusGold should put him on the payroll for improving their product. Oh well, hopefully all this will get sorted out soon.

Indeed. Drama at the SOH forums.Threads are being locked, senior management informed and investigations started!DaveG wrote:I don't have either, but comparing screenshots, it doesn't appear to be the Icarus payware model. (it's better )

Looks like this might get interesting. I think I'll take a seat in...the comfy chair! I read a post over at SOH stating that the freeware Duck is actually a re-engineered copy of the payware Duck.

I agree, the VC is different (different layout and items) and the IcarusGold model has more defined plating on the body.FlyTexas wrote:I don't think this is the IcarusGold model. The IcarusGold model is native FSX while this model (sad to say) is not.
