What does it say that the first 'D' country that popped into mind wasn't Denmark, but Djibouti? Definitely couldn't think of a fruit, as I came up with ibex for the animal, and can't say I've seen too many fruits at the market that start with 'x'.

I thought Dhekelia was in Cyprus.I agree that 98% is wide of the mark,but this is still an amusing little diversion.When SWMBO and I tried it we both came up Denmark etc.Does that mean that great minds think alike or that we've been married too long? EricT

If you think of a number between 1 and 10 and multiply by 9 you cannot have a larger number than 99. If you choose between 1 and 9 and then multiply by 9, the result will always be a number who's two digits themself add up to 9 and thus subtracting 5 you get 4 and equating this with a letter of the alphabest you will get D.

As this was obvious, to attempt to "screw it up", I thought of the Dominican Republic, a chameleon and a nectarine

But it does say not to think...just the first thing that comes into you head which with most people would be Denmark

I saw a similar version of this some time ago that stopped with the second letter of the country being an animal and most folk had a Danish Elephant
