We are MAN, we cook on fire!

Post by Lewis - a2a »

Well the sun has certainly been out and about recently in the UK, and as is typical the population at the hint of above freezing temps are out in shorts, t-shirts etc etc. ...and of course the BBQ's are out in force!
Got in from the day job to my housemate just lighting ours. On the menu tonight was some special rump steak burgers, good ole lincolnshire sausages from home and baked spuds. Must be on my 5th BBQ of the year so far.

The other day when I was out for a ride the only thing I could smell was freshly mown grass and BBQ's...

Its weird that no matter what the weather I'm usually wondering round on my days off in shorts and flip flops regardless.

Funny, I have been working in Birmingham all weekend and all I could smell was exhaust fumes and Balti!

well to be honest, when family from Canada pop over for the visit they tend to wonder around Grimsby (where the family is orginally from) barefoot and in shorts. When in rome and what not

I think it's something to do with wearing big boots and black clothes most of our lives Eddie. I'm the same on days off, although having lost 3 stone thanks to bike 3, I do have to grit my teeth and pretend I enjoy it in January these days :help:
