Incredible Space Pics from ISS

I am just a sucker for these sort of pictures. These were taken by astonaut Col Douglas H. Wheelock last year aboard the ISS. Picture 5 shows Northern Europe, the UK and the Aurora Borealis in the distance.

Oh, the dates on the photos are the Colonial mm-dd-yyyy format.

Simply amazing stuff, man you would just have to pinch yourself to see if you were dreaming if you were there seeing that view out of the window.

I remember one of the Apollo astronauts when recalling his experiences on the Space Program commented "You are not there because you deserve to be there, you were just lucky" it must be very humbling indeed!

Incredible how much light we generate at night.
