I have only just found out how to get the full set of external tanks on my Hunters...I was labouring under the impression that the only optional model of the aircraft was the "Clean" version, but when I looked it was the full long range version.
What a shame I did not discover this before I sent them all out to Kenya last year. It would have been the correct rig for them
Anyway here are a few shots I took today of the AI Traffic long range version with inboard 230 gallon external tanks and out board 100 gallon external tanks:-
I can't remember if the FS9 code was the same, but the FSX version is engine off & parking brake set.
No Dave,
I tried that but it didn't work...I also tried the battery master off with those two, but no go. Perhaps I have somehow broken it.
Did some flight testing today with the long range tanks...They feed fine and the range is over 1400 nms. The rear tanks should empty first but they do not feed till the externals are empty...I think I will just put up with that. I also tested the EFB which I have fitted instead of the FS9 GPS and that worked well too!
Started the flight planning today to take Echo round the World
