MAAM DC-3 Air Anglia

Post by RichardC »

Hi there,

I've recently got the MAAM DC-3 which is a fantastic model! I was wondering does anyone know if there is an Air Anglia paint for this model? I know there is one for the default FS9 model. Any help is appreciated! Or if anyone has the time, if they could paint Air Anglia colours for the MAAM, which would be great! :excited:

Thanks!!

Richard

Hi Richard..

John Payne did a gallon of repaints for the DC3 including Air Anglia but not, I'm afraid, for the MAAM model. Your best bet is to look on one of the many DC3 websites or indeed.. check out what is available at MAAMSim if you've not already done so ;)

The default Air Anglia would be John's I think *-)

If someone offers to paint one, make sure they do the bottom very dark blue and not black :worried:

Yes.. I said that Johns paint wasn't for the MAAM model but didn't say which one it was for 8) It is indeed for the default model ;)

Richard.. if you do come across an Air Anglia paint for the MAAM model, be sure to give us a heads-up here

Hi Guys,

I never got round to doing the MAAM DC-3 in AQ colours. The dark blue that Garry is referring to was never part of the DC3 colour scheme. It was introduced oin the paint new scheme for the F27 when it joined the fleet and was carried forward onto the F28, Argosy, Chieftain and Bandeirante types.
