Hi Ben,
I hope you're wearing insulated boots! What voltage is that black current?
Hang on a minute! If you've bottled that "Dark Energy" that the astrognomes are looking for, you could be in line for a Nobel Prize.
LOL I wish
If I were having a spirit it would be Bushmills 1608, or a Highland Park
Currently drinking a pint of Bulmers Crisp Blend. Might treat myself to a small Lagavulin 16 later. Can't imbibe too much as I'm in work at 6am tomorrow

I gave up on spirits years ago.. when I came into the 'trade' as it happens. They're just too easy to see off and I've seen a lot of boozy landlords in my time. Ultimately, they did me a favour

Yes, Dave will have seen some damage caused by misuse of spirits. And the effects of it have also changed (and ended) the lives of people close to me. Apart from the very occasional watered-down nightcap or a long gin and tonic in the summer, I'll have nothing to do with it. A pint or two of bitter or a glass of wine with a meal is all I'll take now. Concentrated alcohol and soft body tissue don't sit well together. Not for long.
Be very careful of it, Jonesey. It's all evil, however cleverly it's marketed.
I have to be up for a flight at gawdawful o'clock tomorrow, so liquid caffeine is about all I'll manage tonight.
The age verification page reminded me that recently gmail demanded my date of birth to let me see my emails.
Seems there is no sense check, so at 110 I am obviously thoroughly entitled to my cranky views.
They're a nice crowd at the Bruichladdich Distillery, come to think of it the only git I've met in the trade was the self-important family owner of the Glenfarclas brew. Still a palatable drop of the craythur all the same, just not as wonderful as he tried to browbeat me into saying. (I was only 80 at the time...)
Jonesy...those tins...how many spoons of the powder do you add to a glass of water? More to the point, how do you manage to say "Bruichladdich" after a glass? Seems that Filonian might make that sound if he's given a taste of it!
Oh, and I looked at those Airsoft guns, now I need a drink! The promoters are treading very carefully in Australia due to our gun laws.
