FSX Crashing

Post by TSR2 »

Hi Chaps,

I had this happen before, ages ago, and I think someone here suggested a fix but I cant remember for love nor money. I have FSX on Windows 7 x64. I have all of the VFR Generation X installed and all 3 VFR airfield packs for GenX. I have checked, and I have no clashes between VFR Airfields and other addon scenery.

departing from Hethrow on either RW27, making a left hand turn to heading 115, Hethrow departure hands me over to Gatwickand as I approach 9000ft I get clearance up to the next flight level, once I go above 10000 ft I get handed over to London centre and as soon as I contact them, the sim crashes. I've tried disabling VFR Airfields aera 1, but that didn't make a difference. It happens every time, I've tried the vanguards and Trident, although it didn't happen with the VC10?

Any ideas?

Sused it out! It was a Hovercraft Traffic File I'd been playing with ages ago that had got back into my traffic folder when I rebuilt the PC a few months ago. As soon as I was getting in range of the traffic it would crash the sim. :wall:
