Did BA crews actually fly the 727 flights or was it an ACMI/Wet Lease with ATA?

Hi Chris
BA operated with ATA crews
Not sure about the cabin staff though
BA did all the scheduling, line maintenance and ground handling

Re: Which airlines operated which routes...Our database
I would suspect the cabin crew was probably BA as they only needed a single day of training to be familiarized with exit locations and cabin equipment differences. Thankfully with the airlines, the only people that have to be specifically certified to operate a certain type are the flight crews. Everything else is just "training" and that can take a lot of different forms. It's why the summer/winter charter leases work so well. Recall a few flight attendants from furlough or just give your existing ones extra flights, make sure the plane's delivered with a copy of the A-Check and nightly maintenance work cards (it already has a set of line maintenance manuals onboard) and off you go. If anything major breaks, just find a contract maintenance outfit that'll send you a mechanic to consult on the type.
