What is a flag???

Well it's just a piece of cloth with a few simple patterns or stripes in appropriate colours, on the face of it that is

But it is more than that, it is a national symbol of pride and the sight of the flag brings out a high emotional response to that symbol.

That's what it's truly all about, not the material being but its meaning.

BA has a stylised Union flag symbol recognised troughout the World as a symbol og the United Kingdom

Although not State owned, thy are still seen as the national airline of the host nation and what do they do...they deface the very symbol of the nation.

To be honest I think this is not only a poor livery but a shameful act of vandalism and could be taken to mean that business interest and certain individuals own self glory is put above the pride of the nation

I hope they change it pronto.

If you recognise any of these men defacing this aeroplane, contact you local crimestoppers 8)

Apparently it's a Dove... as a symbol, in this case, of 'taking the peace'

Bung a couple of extra engines on it and they'd have a Heron

Designer was "mentored by Tracy Emin" - wonder what that means?

Ah so maybe this was the inspiration: http://www.saatchi-gallery.co.uk/artist ... my_bed.htm
