Dare I mention that question "Is there / will there be a virtual cockpit?"... maybe better not to...? ...!

Re: Old Friend Updated
I don't think so David. A VC would require a new model and as far as I know, this panel will be for Rick's FS2002 model that's been dragged, kicking and screaming into the 21st century I could be wrong though.. there may be a new model Let me add that if there is, I have no knowledge of it

Nope, although I must say it's a fine example of wishful thinking.
This is all for the RP FS8 original re pooped for FS9, but dates form before VC's were a reality in most models.

Re: Old Friend Updated
I'm not going to attempt to estimate a release date as I'm failing miserably to stick to them suffice to say it won't be too much longer for the 800 and 810. I think I will be doing two or three 700/700Ds after that for completeness as this will probably be the last full update.
At the moment nearing completion are,
Viscount 800;
BEA 802/806X with or without Decca.
KLM/Aer Lingus 803
Aer Lingus 808
Viscount 810;
Continental/Channel 812
SAA/BMA 813
Lufthansa/BMA 814
BMA/Manx 836
Cheers
