Gentlemen,
those of you who keep returning to avherald.com for profound information about commercial aviation incidents and flight safety - you might be interested in this interview with the site's mastermind Simon Hradecky. I often wondered where he'd get all the info from - and it's quite interesting how he runs the site...

Oops, I'm sorry -
It's an incident news page, very well done IMHO and surpringsly up-to-date.
Have a look at

Comes highly recommended by yours truly
It's my normal 1st check of the day & have used it for a few years now. Sometimes the comments can get a bit lairy
but Simons' reporting is usually very factual
Best Regards

Re: The Aviation Herald
Even allowing for the fact that English is not his first language , it appears to add nothing to rather more authoritative sources such as CHIRP . Furthermore, views on aviation safety expressed by someone with no apparently relevant professional qualifications have to be regarded with some caution . However, CHIRP is not available to the public so the Aviation Herald may satisfy some demand

Re: The Aviation Herald
It's good information provided as with all this thing it is treated with some caution as the simple fact is no one in the public domain is going to have the entire truth simply because it is the internal information of the parties concerned.
It's easy to see something happen but no one nor directly involve can possibly know exactly why.
Just a case of reading with an open mind and cross reference anything you are particularly interested in
Even Flight International and Air Britain get things wrong as they are often presented with seemingly accurate but in fact flawed info.
