Hi Guys,
I'm hoping someone can help. I'm trying to find a list of all of the Castles which adorned the BA fleets in the 80's. I'm particularly interested in The BA 757's when they wore the "British" titles. Does anyone know of such a list?
Cheers,
Ben

Also, If I could find the date / time / Route of a flight from 1987, is there anywhere where I could find out which A/C flew the route?
Ben.

Re: British Airways Castles
Brilliant Nigel, thanks! I flew Feb '87 (trying to find the exact date) so that rules out some of the later ones, so pretty sure its a G-BI** one. EGLL - EGAA, delayed super shuttle flight. Kilo Victor rings a bell, but that might be from later on when my Dad was flying over with work. Hopefully there will be some records kept somewhere
Ben.

Re: British Airways Castles
G-BKRM was also Braemar Castle
http://www.b757.info/cn/22176.htm
It went to Air Europe so I suspect they reused that name on G-DRJC (which was leased from Monarch?)

Re: British Airways Castles
Thanks for those Garry! And that's a great find Toby, thanks for that site. I've contacted my old school today to see if they can get me the dates of the trip as my mum had a tidy last year and binned a lot of our old school stuff.
Is it likely that there is somewhere that will have a record of the flight details after all this time, or am I pissing in the wind do you think?

Re: British Airways Castles
G-BKRM was a G-BIK* diverted to Air Europe in a deal where BA could take it back after a time
They didn't, but did lease it. because of that initial deal all the Air Europe ordered 757 were built to BA specs as -236.
There is confusion over the 'IK reg as it's given as G-BIKE, but that had been issued to a Cherokee years before. The not taken up 'IK reg, which I think was near the middle was re issued.
At one time BA were also using G-OOOB but I think that was in Air 2000 basic
Out of interest, G-BKRM entered service with BA in Full Air Europe with BA titles before getting full Landor. On return to Air Europe, it flew in full Landor with Air Europe titles.
