Re: A nice Kiwi display...
Thanks for the H.U. Peter
A great piece of filming slightly spoilt only by the 'music' and vignetting to provide atmosphere ?
As others have said there, wasn't the sound of twin merlins in the air music enough ? - and it's a very long time
since I first heard the cheery whistle of a Goblin.
Cheers

Make that "totally spoiled".
Why do we have to have b****y music with everything ?

Ditto, Mr Sporran!
The sound should have been Merlins & props, and I didn't see the need for slo-mo. I cut out at 3 minutes.
Is this what they mean by cranky old gits?

If this was the edited version, with people's heads in the way, camera shake , unwanted zoom in and out etc. , what was the original like ? And the noise - or was it supposed to be music !! Add the conceit of some one who sticks copyright on every frame , and sorry Peter, this is not for me this time

Stick with this one then (don't be put off by the first pass) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUU7hBGy ... ure=relmfu, it does it for me and then some.Airspeed wrote:Ditto, Mr Sporran!

Agreed, apart from the fake retro beginning, very watchable. The side offerings there were also no frills and well done. Gotta get my spine tingles somehow!
No offence to you Peter, you found us an improvement on the earlier offering, and you were quick off the mark with what was immediately available.
Cheers, Mike.
