My Mum had some and if the batter went flat there was no way to adjust the time
Could be that the batter was gumming up the works! :hide: EricT

Maybe it a US thing and not supported in the free world??
Doubt it, it works off a long wave transmitter in Rugby, you actually have to buy a different model depending on where you are in the world as they use different frequencies.

Thinking about it Dave my analogue wave ceptor can be a bugger to manually update, you press the right button and if it's not for exactly the right length of time the second hand points at some other point of the dial to indicate another mysterious function! The digital G-Shock model is much easier as well as being solar powered so you can forget about it for years on end and it'll still be right.

That's what I see mate. Hold the button.. let go.. and WTF :-O The old Airbus syndrome.. 'what's it doing now?' I'll take a look at the G-Shock models next time I'm looking for a new one ;) I don't wear the Casio much these days.. main watch is a Pulsar which was my dad's. It's Kinetic but version 2 which is a much better time keeper. Still.. when I need to check the time, I always check it against the Casio ;)

I had one of the automatic clocks that was preprogrammed to change the time. But when George "Dubya" postponed the time change by one week, I went from changing my clock manually, to- not having to change it, to - having to change it Four times a year.
When the time change happened automatically I'd have to change it back only to change it a week later. then in the spring forward change too.

:| It's gone now, I sent it to the recycler.
