That's a very pretty aeroplane, Peter. It looks like a lot of fun. I'm not totally sure whether I need it at the moment ...

I'm trying to place the airport. It looks like La Guardia but that's not your usual stamping ground.

You got that right Ian...I flew there direct on the High Level Airways from McLeland Field...A long haul of over six hours The aeroplane has a quoted range of 2642NM

Well yes Ian...my ideal flight was LHR to Geneva and back. About 1 hour 20 minutes each way

LONG HAUL for me was the Vanguard to Malta and back with a drop into Palermo on the way out...Horror! I had one hell of a job to stay away when the Sun came up and whacked me in the right eye on the way back...I still remember waking with a start as all the engine fire warning lights lit and the bells rang...Nob West had just pressed the Test button

Well since that button was never pressed in the air...I guess it was on purpose...Anyway, I looked at him and he was busy staring out of the left window, and P3 was doubled up with mirth
