I think it's the one from his original FS9 scenery. I have it here somewhere though not on my current FS9 load. It's available from all the usual sites :) Are we going to see her in the Solent by any chance?? *-) :worried:

Lovely crisp shots Peter

EDIT: Fsx versions of CotS and QM2 are at FSShipyards.. http://www.fs-shipyards.org/index.php?i ... iew&idev=2

All my ships are by Hama and the AI versions that I use work very well and anchor into wind on the AFCAD that I designed for the purpose. At the moment I use my FS9 Traffic files for my base as they are very complex and do not covert readily to FSX...When all is complete I will have them on a switch to turn them all on or off...This will allow the P3D/FSX Traffic files to operate when my files are turned off. Does anyone know if an FS9 Traffic file can be altered in some simple way to prevent it flagging as FS9 and maybe even flag as FSX. The files all work perfectly, as designed, in P3D except for the day of the week (which is just another item that the "Aces" broke!). Naturally, I have to put up with the "IFROnly=0" problem but I find that I can work whole sessions with my VFR Traffic working well, as long as I don't change a setting or change the time and it will even cope with a shut down and restart without the dreaded config change. It pays to have a shortcut on the desktop to the .cfg file :)

Well, well, well. The master hasn't been sleeping after all!

The Field is looking gorgeous, Peter. And all the traffic as well. That sounds like a very good idea to be able to switch between FS9 traffic at McLeland Field and back to FSX/P3D when you go somewhere else. It must have saved you a great deal of time.

It's wonderful to see it all coming to life again - and even better than before with all that vegetation. Who ever would have thought that you'd be able to move it from FS9. I distinctly remember you saying that you would never use another sim other than FS9 purely because you had invested so much time and work into it. I have nothing but admiration

Let's hope Holger is getting on with his Alaskan scenery to get those mountains tidied up!

Ian :)

Hi Peter,

Yes, I can convert them to FSX. If you can zip them up and email them over I'll get them back to you tonight (I have a sneaking suspicious I was going to do this for you before and completely forgot, so apologies if that's the case.) I can also alter the Days of the week to begin on Monday or sunday depending on your preference :)

JFYI, a reply from the official P3D forum, dated 05/11/12 or 11/05/12 (if you're over there).

Ian :)

Hi Ben,

There are 38 Traffic.bgl files running McLeland Field...A lot of them are very small and but still Traffic files and a some of them are batches with similar titles but with only one of the set active with the file name ending in .bgl...The others in the set are disabled by the file name ending in .bgl.dis. The active one of the set is chosen by a batch file that runs from the desktop icon or automatically on computer boot up. Naturally the Batch Files themselves need no service, but the titles of the various files need to remain unchanged by the end of your work.

If what you are going to do is a straightforward flag change on each file to make it look like an FSX Traffic file then I don't mind zipping up the 38 files and sending you the Zip file...But if you are going to need to do serious changes to the file contents then I think you might like to withdraw your kind offer. I am happy to leave the day of the week changed as it is...I will just let all the Cessna and Waco owners know that their weekends have now become Sunday and Monday instead of Saturday and Sunday for play time free of F-16 s :)

Hi Peter,

No problem, we can leave the names the same and I can easily convert them.

If you send them to:- ben AT skystreak DOT co DOT uk. I'll try and get them sorted later this afternoon.
