Wifely Logic

Post by Tomliner »

This afternoon,SWMBO and I were sitting in a pub in Edinburgh having a meal and a pint(in my case). The rugby match between Scotland and New Zealand was being televised live from Murrayfield. It was about 3.15 and for no particular reason said to her that for anyone watching the game in NZ it would be the early morning hours as NZ is twelve hours ahead of the UK.
She thought for a moment and then said 'So they'll know the result already then'

On a similar vein I tried to tell the family that in Australia/NZ, Christmas is in the summer.

My ex then piped up...rubbish, they don't celebrate Christmas in June

:-O :-O

That sort of thing applies to women in general I think. I remember phoning my mom from Fiji years ago and I mentioned it was about 10am in the morning there. I heard her shout to my dad 'It's David on the phone and he's phoning from tomorrow'
