Time to get on the ground

Post by VEGAS »

Interesting clip of an emergency situation of an ultralight with engine failure.

I thought the pilot did an excellent job getting lined up on a nearby road with little in the way of options, especially over dense woodland. :-O :-O

'Cathy' wasn't impressed but I'll put that down to shock. It could of been so much worse.

Great they got down ok but they are braver than me!

We have a few that i see trundling around at our local airport but you would never get me going up in one, i don't mind flying one in FSX though ;)

Woo!
That space looked too narrow for the wingspan, looked like they clipped the trees on the stbd after landing.
Cheers, Mike.
