Re: I've killed my PC today
Hi Tony,
I didn´t see you post until now. But I have the exact same MB as yours. It came when I bought it 3½ years ago with an X3 710 Phenom II, Vista-64 bit and F2 BIOS.
In the meantime I upgraded to W7-64 bit (upgrade, no complete reinstall), and today I use the latest F12 BIOS and an X6 1100 Phenom II.
BIOS upgrade went smooth, but I learned from the Gigabyte Forum, that they advise you to do the upgrades stepwise. I.e. not from F2->F12, but I made them like F2->F4->F7->F10->F12.
Maybe that could have coursed you problems?
Good that you are back in business though.
BR,
Anders
