Ah Well...Looks Like We'll Still Be Here Saturday
But in case the World does end, some have taken pics of themselves in front of the temple to remember their visit when they look back after the Apocalypse has destroyed everything...

I bet there are many people who were convinced that the apocalypse was going to happen.
And now are probably very disappointed that nothings occurred.
The only thing I'd say is; don't be upset, its not the end of the world.

Don't speak too soon. Notice how none of our Australian members have posted anything...with the International date line, they were the first to go.

We're still here - whoopee!Paul K wrote:Don't speak too soon. Notice how none of our Australian members have posted anything...with the International date line, they were the first to go.
Apparently there was a sizeable group headed for a crater in the Northern Territory, intending a free love and drug splurge as the ship went down. Strangely, they had also planned an "after party" - in case it didn't happen!
Cheers, Mike.

*ahem* The Mayans lived in my time zone...GMT -6 hrs.
We're not out of the woods yet.
If 12/20/12 was our last day on this planet so be it. I spent a lovely evening with my sons and the former Mrs. FlyTexas. Texas ribeye steaks on the grill, baked potato and salad, with plenty of Merlot.
The oldest son brought a little whiskey with him but I refuse to drink whiskey that comes from a plastic bottle.
