You're right - some of those paints are beautiful. The US one is stunning and the BOAC one with the blue Speedbird on the nose is a must!
The aircraft has certainly caused a stir over there - and rightly so. I love flying it. I love the power, the way it handles and particularly the sound. I won't have any spare time for a few days, which is very frustrating because I want to do some serious flights in it.
I read the entire thread too and enjoyed it. Nice to see it being received with so much enthusiasm
Perhaps those not au fait with warbirds may not know Jan Kees paints but he's prolific and produces excellent work. Looking forward to whatever he releases
