I was stopped on my Kwak Turbo by a Bobby on a Beemer many moons ago. When I took my docs into the cop shop, the Bobby on the desk said 'You could have outrun him on that thing couldn't you'. I didn't know what to say :-O

In 1963, I was stopped and lectured by a foot Mr Plod when riding my Triumph Cub.
I could have outrun him, yes, but respect to Authority was rife in those days.
(That word always reminds me of Cartman [vintage South Park] when he was filling in for the police on his tricycle. Whacked a driver round the ankles; "Respect my authoritaay!")
Cheers, Mike.
Perspective determines interpretation.
