Hi mate,

Yep, I watch that a while ago, fantasic! This seems to be a 2 part? documentary about various bikes going from the UK to try for various different records, some real characters and great viewing, well done auntie Beeb :thumbsup:

Haven't watched it myself yet, (recorded it), but a guy I used to work with was one of the bike builders in the program.

Hi,

Well after looking forward to the programs second part it was a pity that nobody did that well and to think that the New Zealand's Burt Munro still holds the speed record on his Indian from 1967 is amazing.

True, but that 30 year old Suzuki doing 157+ was bloody good going. The guys with the supercharger self destructing had a reasonable start too, but the bearded one was a grumpy old bugger, even after getting a ride on the Suzuki he didn't realise he'd done 153! :lol:

Think I was still on Suzuki's 30years ago. What was it Ben?
