A blue and white one mate  :worried:

They did say in the first episode, but I can't remember TBH. it was awesome though, no turbo or supercharger just proper engineering and it went like stink. It was the fastest of the bikes that went from the UK and I think it was the only one that didn't have something go pop. The Geordie fella looked like his would have gone well but he took seriously ill so didn't get a chance to do a decent run.

Cheers for that  A blue and white one hey! 8)

Thinking back to that colour.. it sounds like it was a GS1000S. The standard bike was good for a fair old speed though not 157 straight out of the crate. I used to have a GS1000EN which was basically the same but didn't come with a nose fairing and didn't have the trendy blue/white scheme. Loved that bike even though I fried the clutch at the IoM

Hen's teeth :-O Difficult to know what that started life as  The tank and headlamp look like they're from my old GSX1100 but as for the rest of it.. it's definitely non-standard

I bought the GSX11 after the GS'thou and racked up something like 22k miles in 24months 8) Used to do around 6 trips from Pompey to Faslane before the rear tyre needed changing (too much motorway traffic wearing the centre of the tyre down) :-O
