Hmm.. an international tourist city in the Far East has been firmed up as it's destination hey. Ah well.. as long as they don't cut her up ;)

OMG it seems like only the other week that I and my fellow Scouts were taken for a tour of her on the Clyde when she was being final fitted out or whatever the nautical term is. What year would that have been? 67? 68? Where does the time go.

Yes...launched in 1967, a long time ago now...but does it really seem that long??? :worried:

The QE2 always seemd up to date to me, yet, in reality, she was one of the longest serving liners ever.
