John,
Children can be so cruel!
BTW you don't have any rain to spare, I suppose? Haven't seen any since Spring, and it's hard to keep plants going.

We have the remains of Cyclone Oswald moving slowly down the coast. It has been dropping about 100mm of rain per day (4" in real money) and taking about three days to pass by.
At least we get warm rain...

This is a live link, so what you see will change. I am on the horizontal axis, below the 'M' of Marburg, or a tad left of the 'A' of Amberley.

Well to really cheer you up, it's been flipping cold here all week, -30C with about a 10 degree wind chill on top of that

Indeed mate.. when you have it cold there.. it really IS cold. Robbie Arnold.. a member who's not been up for a while lives not far from Dorval as I remember and as he used to say.. you just get on with it there. Canada doesn't grind to a halt as does the UK with temps only a fraction of yours
Showing some 8deg here now. That should be enough to get the kids back to school!
