Indeed Roger...that one has to be the classic...the late great Ray Hanna getting rather close to terra firma with that prop especially.....did you notice the slight climb at the end...that was in order to lower the U/C I reckon...

Hi Brian,
Great film, I met Ray a couple of times at the Warbirds Display's at West Malling back in the 1980's, such a nice Gent.
I lived about three miles from the airport back then and it used to be great every August Bank Holiday as being so close we had three days every year practicing for the Monday, it was a great time with all the different aircraft flying around, one year we were treated to a flying display by a BA Concorde on it's way in to Heathrow, Those were the days!
Roger.

Funny, what they said did not sound like "Oh my god", maybe it's these headphones?
Cheers, Mike.

It's a translation Mike
The reporter spoke in Austraian and for the title it was translated into English

Couldn't tell you how many times I've watched that clip but it's as good now as it ever was
Not sure if it was a 'put on' or not but years ago at Halfpenny Green (I was just a lad).. he did similar to a Policeman. The Bobbies pooch had done a runner after a hare so he gave chase as Ray was coming in for a low pass in Z-DB. The Bobby dived for the deck.. much to the amusement of the crowd
We never knew if it was a put up or what but it was one of those things you tend to remember.. like that clip
