Trying to trace an aircraft drawings dealer

This might be a long shot...

Sometime last year, I was reading a magazine - can't remember which one, but it could have been any of the historical aviation ones such as Flypast, or it could have been a militaria magazine such as The Armourer. In the classified adverts section, there was a small company selling collections of aircraft technical drawings on CD, and a link to their online catalogue. The collections were described as 'large' or 'small' depending on how many drawings were included on the disc. One of the aircraft was the Halifax, and that particular collection was described as 'small'.

Unfortunately, I lost the link somewhere in a cookie cleanup and since then I've trawled the web trying to find them again. I've even looked through magazines on the shelves of W H Smith, in the hope of spotting that advert once more.

Does any of this ring a bell with anyone here ? The company is definitely based in Britain, but thats all I can tell you.

George, no, it wasn't anything to do with Ebay. It was a little company, probably run by one man, with its own website and online catalogue. That Ebay advert might be linked to him however...hmm, I wonder..

George, it would appear you have solved the mystery ! I clicked on the sample Halifax plan in that advert, which brought up a Photobucket album. Scrolling through other pictures in that same album, I found the link;

You might also want to try:
A. Historybytesback [copies / extracts of official blueprints, manuals.]
B. Flying Zone Publications ["The Halifax Explored" etc. series, Mosquito, Hurricane, Lancaster + more internal & external photos, drawings and so on. ]

Mike, thanks, yes I have the 'Halifax Explored' CD. Apparently there is a new version of it, which I'll probably get before long.
