Re: Tristar
We passed one of the RAF tankers landing at Newcastle on Saturday night. Nice to see something a bit different
Ben.

Re: Tristar
Hi Ben,
Yup they will not be flying much longer, the Tristar has always been my favorite and the old Delta paint scheme as well.
I have now got one flying in fsx so i'm happy,
Cheers,
Roger.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

Re: Tristar
LOL I wish mate. It was a nice site though. Had a good look around the museum of flight. Mike Oscar has seen better days, the comet is closed and its not it great shape. On the plus side, they've done a lovely job with the 707 forward section which is now in BOAC with a nice cabin exhibition in the Concorde hanger. The real shame is the Viscount, still in bits 4 years later, the fuselage is in the hanger, but the wings are still lying outside uncovered, same as they were when she arrived. I can't imagine it would take up too much trouble to move them inside. I'll try and get some photos up tomorrow night.
Ben.
