I've not seen any comet..
I have a few more days but... So. Florida spotters who have seen it say it's not something one would notice
as an astrological event.
However, that could be due to haze. If the western sky clears as the sky is above me, I might have a chance seeing it.
My camera has an 840mm lens so that should be powerful enough to see the tail. Although, setting the exposure might be tricky. I should think a time value over a half second, depending on the ISO setting, will produce a blured image.

The US will have a total solar eclipse on Nov 8th.
Nigel², lucky chap, will be pretty much right under it.
I'll be under full eclipse, although there might be a sliver of the corona tucked behind the moon.
