On the OzX site, Wilkins YWKS in Antarctica, is available.
Yep, the scenery's pretty sparse. The weather looks weird.
The brakes won't stop you, and steering can be done by differential throttle, but rudder on the ground has almost no effect.
You don't need ORBX Australia to instal, but I couldn't make it work by following the instructions. I Created a Wilkins folder in Add on scenery, then a Scenery folder in that. The 2 bgls went into that folder, then I did the usual Add area. Did a take off in a Lockheed P3 Orion. Finding the landing strip again was quite challenging, had to resort to GPS!
Sorry to hear that you gents in the UK are having such atrocious weather. The World's going/gone crazy. Landslide in Cornwall(?) killed a lady, heavy snow closed schools, folks can't get to work.
And down here, we've had damaging winds ripping up trees and buildings. They have also been using the term "tornado" for what hit Eastern Victoria. Caravans and holiday huts were torn to pieces and carried some distance. In the past, the Weather Bureau has said that we don't have them here. Like I said...crazy.
